Grace Combs Photography | Northern Colorado Wedding Photography

I was so excited to get to shoot Alyssa and Isaiah’s wedding in Northern Colorado. I have known both of them since high school. Isaiah was one of my best friends in high school and we actually went to senior prom together (now those would be some pictures worth posting). It was awesome to see how their love story began and grew. I would have never guessed ten years ago that I would be shooting their wedding. And they really couldn’t be more perfect for each other.

They both have an infectious, goofy, carefree sense of humor that radiates out of them. Isaiah never failed at making me laugh. He always had goofy, weird quirks that were easy to laugh at. Alyssa has always had this unreserved, out of the box humor that brought forth some of the best outfits and parties. Her bridal shower was Disney princess themed and all the guest had to dress up as Disney princesses (Alyssa was Belle of course).

Shooting their wedding was like coming back home. Their wedding party and guests were filled with old friends. It was great to see how all their lives have blossomed and grown while I was away. Their wedding was filled with lots of fun, adventure, and music. We did the bridal and bridesmaids shots in this old school house near her house. The house was so expansive and old, the images just oozed out of it. The ceremony was gorgeous with one very epic moment when Alyssa walked down the isle. I loved that the reception music was pretty much all Passion Pit songs and was broken up by their very talented friends giving live musical performances. Isaiah’s brother (his best man) gave one of the most hilarious speeches I have heard, complete with a powerpoint presentation. The night ended with surprise fireworks as the couple ran of into their new life together. It was a perfect evening and I was honored to be a part of it.
