Senior Portrait Photography – – Colorado Springs, CO – – Class of 2011
Katurah is an amazing senior. I met Katurah through my friend Dominic. Katurah is his best friend. They would both come and hang out with us in our office after the got off from school. Most of the time I would say something about how much I love her hair. (She always has the coolest hair styles and I am jealous.) I would also try to meagerly help them with their spanish homework. (My 1 year of college spanish did not do me well.) We also enjoyed our daily ritual of 5 before 5 when I would read a 3rd grade history textbook in a weird “Sid the Sloth” like accent. Normally, it ended with outrageous laughter. (I would try to push through the laughter which just resulted in laughter tears streaming down my face). Non the less, I have a lot of fun with her. So when she needed senior photos, I jumped on that train.
Katurah is an aspiring young photographer and musician. Shooting with her was awesome. It just felt so natural. It was nice to shoot with friends. We had fun and the images just clicked. Plus Dominic, who is an aspiring music producer, came along for the journey. I love how her personality was captured in the images and how her creativity inspired more creativity in me.
I hope she has an amazing senior year. I can’t wait to see what life brings her. I am sure she is gonna be huge!
