I NEVER WANTED TO BE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER.
It’s true. My dream in life was never to be a wedding photographer. In fact, it wasn’t even on my radar until a friend of mine asked if I would be her second photographer. Even since then, I had a hard time figuring out “my brand” as wedding photographer because in all honesty that wasn’t what made my heart beat. What made my heart beat were genuine moments caught in time that made the average person stop and see beauty that maybe they never recognized before. I take the same posture when I shoot a lifestyle session. I want you to see the beauty in your life, in your wedding and in your marriage. I am not there to simply be a photographer. I am there to see for you all the little moments you can’t see for yourself. In fact, before every session, I take a moment to tell myself “Open your eyes. Be in the moment. Really see.”
Every time Grace steps behind the camera, her number one goal is to find the genuine beauty inside each of her subjects. When her clients view their photos, she wants them to fall more in love with each other because of how honestly their love is captured. She never edits out laughter or tries to stifle a moment of silliness but at the same time tries to direct you in a way that expresses honest and pure romance. She loves to mix her fine art background with a journalistic style of shooting to perfectly capture her client’s sessions.
