I love my clients. They are all such beautiful people. Every once in a while I get to really know some of my clients. When I shoot their weddings, I feel like I am celebrating friends because we just have gotten to hang out and enjoy each other’s company. Donna and Mike were one of these couples. When it came time for their wedding day, I felt like I was watching friends instead of clients. I remember when I left their reception, I made sure to tell them it had been an honor to share their day with them (I probably teared up cause, lets face it, I’m a cry baby). These two are grounded and funny and love each other and they are two people I would definitely choose to hang out with if I was given the chance again.
They got married at St. Anne Parish in the quaint mountain town of Grand Lake, CO. Their reception was held at Grand Lake Lodge with a cocktail party on the upper deck with a full view of Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake. Prior to their reception, we were able to grab some pictures at the Grand Lake Marina. They even graciously let us use one of the amazing wooden speed boats. This wedding will forever go down as one of my favorites. I wish Donna and Mike the absolute best.
