These two are pure gold! I can not describe to you how awesome it was to be a part of their wedding day. It was just down right fun with some of the best people I have ever met. Mackenzie and Justin are the type of people who you want to be friends with because they live life so fully and so full of joy. And it was evident on their wedding day. With a bridal party of 16, you could tell they were very loved by so many. Mackenzie and Justin are Young Life leaders and I can only imagine how popular they are amongst the high schoolers. These guys know how to have fun in unique and memorable ways. And they are truly genuine people which only adds to their charisma. Plus they are in love (and doesn’t that make everything so much better).
Their wedding day was envisioned and designed by Mackenzie who is a talented painter and graphic designer. Their ceremony took place at Everyday Joe’s coffee shop in Old Town Fort Collins. They decorated the inside with mason jars and flowers and old antique chairs. They even had their own instagram hashtag (#jmackwedding) which made it so easy for all their guests to take pictures and share. Their reception was at Club Tico and instead of having their guests drive over and meet them there (how boring is that?!), they decided to have a bike parade that followed the Old Town trolley. All their guests brought bikes and rode and cheered next to the trolley as it carried the bride, groom and bridal party to their reception. The reception featured a create your own burger bar from Stuft and unique center pieces featuring succulents, mason jars, and weather barn wood. I have never seen dancing like I did at their reception. These people know how to party and they were all really good dancers. They finished their reception with a no holds bar dance off where the winner won $100 – not that their guests needed any more incentive to dance the night away.
I wish these two all the joy that life can bring!
